Winifred Laughlin (May 27th, 1975) was born in Rising Hope Alabama. She served on the school paper in high school, wanting to be a journalist. In her junior year she wrote an expose on the school cafeteria, which got her in trouble. She was still named editor of the school paper however. She graduated in 1993, and in 1995 had a daughter. When she was 22 years old her mother died of pneumonia and her father died of pancreatic cancer. She worked at the Rising Sun Newspaper, and became editor in 2007 at the age of 32. She's a good journalist, but tends to stretch the truth from time to time. She often puts her job before her family.
