Raymond Berkley (December 6th, 1955) was born in Rising hope Alabama. He was the youngest of two brothers. When he was 18 years old he joined the Rising Hope Police Department. He was promoted to Detective at 23. In 1991 he started dating Bella Calligan, a redheaded model that caught his fancy. The two got married in 1993, and had a daughter together in 1994 -- Cheria. In 1999 he was promoted to Chief of Police after being on the force for 26 years. Raymond's brother died in the same year that he was promoted. He and his wife remain very close, though he and his daughter fight from time to time.
