Ashley Shannon (December 12th, 1985) was born in Rising Hope, Alabama. She is the oldest of the Shannon sisters. She has two sisters -- Heather Nichols, and Holly Shannon. She and Aimee Abbott were best friends growing up, and she always wanted to be a nurse. However her family was in a lot of debt, which meant there was a lot her family couldn't afford. After graduating from high school in 2003, she started to community college. Unfortunately her mother was diagnosed with cancer that year, and her father committed suicide. So Ashley had to quit school to take care of her mother. In 2009 her mother died. But her family was so heavy in debt, that she couldn't afford college. So she took a job at the Midnight Lounge with her youngest sister in hopes of paying off the debt. They've managed to pay half of it off in just 3 years. She and Heather don't get along very well sometimes. She still hopes to be a nurse someday.
